Kim Kardashian’s recent fashion choice has stirred up a storm of comparisons and controversy. On August 20, Kardashian, 43, was spotted in a striking all-white ensemble consisting of a revealing bodysuit, matching tights, and heeled flip-flops, complemented by her icy blonde hair. The look quickly drew attention for its similarity to an outfit worn by Bianca Censori, the wife of Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West.
Censori, 29, had previously worn a similar outfit during a public outing with West in Santa Barbara, California. Fans took to social media to express their opinions, with some accusing Kardashian of mocking Censori. Comments such as “It’s giving Censori” and “Kim what are you doing” reflected the perception that Kardashian’s outfit was a direct nod to her ex-husband’s current partner. Others felt the look was unflattering, with reactions like “Kim, why? You can wear anything, but not this” and “This ain’t it.”
Despite the fashion debate, a source close to Kardashian revealed that her feelings towards Censori are more compassionate than confrontational. The insider shared that Kardashian “genuinely pities” Censori, understanding the challenges of being involved with West. “She knows firsthand how controlling Kanye is, and how difficult it is to get away from him once he has you hooked,” the source said. Kardashian reportedly feels sympathy for Censori, who appears to be under significant influence from West, as evidenced by her public appearances in revealing outfits.
The insider added that Kardashian believes Censori may have been drawn to West by the allure of fame and the lifestyle he offers, only to find herself in a difficult situation. “She can only imagine how the poor girl was lured in by the limelight and the lifestyle,” the source noted.
Further insight into West and Censori’s relationship dynamics came from Milo Yiannopoulos, a former staffer of West, who commented on August 8. Yiannopoulos described Censori as a “wonderful person” who is caught in a challenging position. He suggested that she loves her husband but is also a “traditionally-minded wife” who feels obligated to honor and defer to him. Yiannopoulos called for prayers for both West and Censori, acknowledging the complexity of their relationship.
As Kardashian’s outfit continues to make headlines, the ongoing discourse reflects broader conversations about personal style, public perception, and the dynamics between Kardashian, Censori, and West.
