The Chicago-based stand-up comedian was known for his unfiltered and unapologetic humor, and gained notoriety from posting on social media, becoming popular on TikTok and Instagram.
He was a much-loved figure in the L.A. scene, where he regularly performed at comedy clubs such as Hollywood‘s Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store.
Flores was on his stand-up tour Butterfly Effect, which began in Portland, Oregon on January 10 and was scheduled to conclude in San Diego, California on April 19.
Following the devastating announcement of the comedian’s passing, tributes have poured in on social media.
One fan says: “This is unbelievably devastating and shocking news. Sending so much love and supportive energy to all who loved Ken– family, friends, and all his supporters. I just saw him live on tour in Portland earlier this month, January 11th.”
Flores died on January 28, with his family confirming the upsetting news on his Instagram.
